Snoop Dogg’s New Weed Cookbook Review

Snoop Dogg is undoubtedly a very skilled individual. He has done a little bit of everything over the years. He is best known for his rap music, but he has also been in several television shows and so much more. He is really a multi-talented type of guy. Recently, he has gotten into the culinary business. Snoop recently released his very own cookbook. How is it?

From Crook To Cook

First and foremost, you should learn a little about the cookbook. It is titled “From Crook to Cook”.  The book is available in hardcover and Kindle version. It is a collaboration between Snoop Dogg and Ryan Ford. Ford has worked on a lot of other books over the years, but this seems to be his very first cookbook.

The book is pretty extensive to say the least. In total, there are nearly 200 pages. The book was first released in October of 2018. Despite being so new to the market, the book has already gained a lot of popularity.

In fact, consumer reviews for From Crook to Cook are very positive.

Weed Recipes

When most people think about Snoop Dogg, weed is definitely going to spring to mind. Snoop has been an advocate for weed for a very long time. So, one would expect that his cookbook would be filled with tons of weed recipes.

This is going to be a disappointment for many. The unfortunate truth is that the book doesn’t contain any weed recipes whatsoever. There are some comments about “Snoop’s herbs and spices”. Perhaps this is alluding to weed? Either way, those looking for straight up weed recipes will need to look elsewhere.

They’re not going to find what they’re looking for in this cookbook.

Gin & Juice

Almost everyone is going to remember Snoop’s old song about Gin & Juice. It was definitely hard to get those lyrics out of your head back in the day. If you agree with this assumption and you’re a fan of gin and juice, you’ll absolutely love Snoop’s new cookbook.

It is going to provide you with an updated version of that delicious drink. If you loved the old gin and juice, you’re going to love the new one even more. You can really tell that Snoop and his team put a lot of energy and effort into these recipes. They’re well thought out and they do not stray from Snoop’s personality or his history.

Plenty Of Pictures

When it comes down to it, cookbooks would be worthless without plenty of pictures. After all, you want to know what you’re going to get in advance. You also want to make sure that you’ve done everything correctly. This is why you’ll want pictures.

You need to compare things when you’re finished. The good news is that Snoop’s book has plenty of pictures. They do not completely overwhelm the content though. There are enough pictures to provide the reader with the information that they need. In other words, there is a perfect blend of pictures and text.

Life Significance

There is really a great deal to like about Snoop’s book. It is possible to go on and on. Of course, the most notable factor of all is Snoop’s own personal touch. When you begin browsing through the book, you’re going to see that each and every recipe comes with a unique story.

The stories are there to provide the reader with insight into Snoops life and the significance of the recipe. After that, the book starts getting into the ingredients. The cookbook is deep in a way. It provides more than just recipes and really allows the reader to gain more insight into Snoop’s life and the recipes that are important to him.

Overall Assessment

All in all, Snoop’s cookbook is just okay. A lot of people are going to be buying the book hoping to find all kinds of weed recipes. That is not going to happen. The book doesn’t contain any at all. However, this might not be a bad thing.

The recipes provided are delicious and very easy to follow. Plus, the book provides the reader with more information about Snoop and why he decided to use the recipes included. It does lack in some areas, but From Crook to Cook is still worth your time.
