Long Beach Terrace Theater invites you to spend this Valentine’s Day with American Blues singer-songwriter Bonnie Raitt and special guest Maia Sharp on Thursday, Feb. 14, at 8 p.m. Launching her own label Redwing Records, Raitt’s first self-released album Slipstream marked her biggest debut in two decades and is one of the top five-selling independent albums of the year. Cal Rep presents Tartuffe Lab, an unexpected theater experience directed by German guest artist Eberhard Koehler. Inspired by Moliére’s classic comedy about religious hypocrisy, Tartuffe Lab features an ensemble of actors and designers whose onstage, multi-media experiments challenge contemporary society’s notions of hypocrisy in the theater and in reality. Musical Theatre West – “Oh, what a beautiful morning!” This year marks the 70th Anniversary of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic musical “OKLAHOMA!” Two cowboys flirt with and fight for the women they love just before Oklahoma is officially entered into the Union. The show features the songs “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’,” “The Surrey with the Fringe on Top,” and “People Will Say We’re in Love.” It runs Feb. 15 to Mar. 3 at the Carpenter Center. In My Life - A Musical Theatre Tribute to the Beatles is the award-winning musical biography of the Beatles through the eyes of manager Brian Epstein and features the live music of renowned tribute band, Abbey Road. The show is widely considered by industry insiders to be the most unique Beatles show in decades.
