The Theatre Guild & SE Civic Light Opera, long-time residents of the Liberty Theater on the Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base, has found a new home at 729 Pine Ave., in Long Beach. “We were at the Liberty Theater for nearly 11 years,” says founder, Jeff Hathcock, “and we loved the place. Long Beach Opera takes audiences to the edge of madness in Edgar Allan Poe’s horror masterpiece, The Fall of the House of Usher, Jan. 27, Feb. 2 and Feb. 3, at the Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro.
