A few nights ago a major network TV newscaster displayed a map drawn up by a Connecticut newspaper identifying all registered gun owners in the vicinity of the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Though the papers intention was to probably frighten the local citizens with the presence of armed neighbors it really did immeasurable harm by identifying, by default, all the other unarmed neighbors who have no way of defending themselves in the event of a home invasion or burglary.
In effect the press gave all potential criminals a "shopping list." Is this the level of intelligence of the liberal media?
