Santa Sailing Into Parker's Lighthouse
From Issue: Volume XX - Number 24
Santa Claus will be leaving his sleigh at home to arrive via yacht at Parkers’ Annual “Breakfast with Santa” benefiting Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 9 a.m.
Hundreds of children will be on hand to watch Millie, the Mascot from Miller, escort Santa as he docks in front of the restaurant at Shoreline Village. Michael Cole, Parkers’ General Manager, is encouraging everyone to bring a new, unwrapped gift (newborn to 18 years old) that will be delivered to the children at Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach.
Families will enjoy a hearty holiday breakfast prepared by Chef Mar from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Cost is $8.95 for adults and $6.95 for those under 12. Children of all ages are invited to bring cameras and take pictures of Santa and “Millie” making their way across the scenic Long Beach Harbor.
Cole and his staff have supported “Breakfast with Santa” for many years. “This is our way of spreading holiday cheer to the Long Beach community and giving back to the kids who are too sick to leave the hospital for the holidays,” states Cole.
Located at 435 Shoreline Village, Parkers’ donates 100 percent of the proceeds from this annual event, which will benefit pediatric patients with cancer and serious blood disorders at Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach. Call (562) 432-6500 for reservations or visit www.parkerslighthouse.com.
