LBPD WEST DIVISION COMMANDER Josef Levy, left, is presented a collection of memorabilia at a recent retirement party by LBPD Lt. Randy Allen, center, and Ty Hatfield (LBPD retired lieutenant). During his 27-year career Levy worked on patrol, gangs, drug investigations, internal affairs, hostage negotiations and media relations. He was best known for conducting workshops in diversity training and cultural awareness. He promptly signed up to become a reserve officer at the LBPD and plans on taking the Law Enforcement Cancer Support Foundation that he cofounded to the national level.
